Johnsonville Does Burgers…Finally.

in Giveaways, grill

imageDid you know Johnsonville just came out with Sausage Burgers?

Already made into 1/3 pound patties, ready to grill?

Well…now you know!

They are available at Wal-Mart, and I highly suggest you get there and pick some up.  Not only because they are pretty darn tasty, but, well, it’s nice to have a break from the average burger every once in a while.  Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE a good cheeseburger. Love.  But, this Johnsonville Burger is a really great alternative.

I made mine a bit tropical, and no matter what name I choose to call it (Hawaii Burger, Aloha Burger, Hula Burger) I’ll really be calling it a Big Kahuna Burger, like in Pulp Fiction.  I can NOT have pineapple on a burger without thinking Big Kahuna Burger.

Look at the big brain on Braaaad!

So…

johnsonvilleburger

This masterpiece begins with the Johnsonville Burger, cooked to just a bit more than medium well, (I know, I know, but I just can’t bring myself to cook any piece of meat well done.), topped with a generous slice of mild cheddar and a slice of pineapple.  it’s all placed on a sourdough bun, with a bit of spinach and fresh garden tomato, and for a kick – some caramelized sweet onion.

Yum.

What would YOU put on the burger of YOUR dreams?  Eggs? Mayo? Bacon?  I know you have an opinion, and I am here to tell you – DON’T keep it to yourself!  Share it!image

Johnsonville and The National Pork Board have teamed up in the No Ordinary Burger Contest, and they are looking for the best burgers out there!  Is it yours?  It could be!  All you have to do is enter by September 6th, and you could win a YEAR of FREE GROCERIES!  I’ve included all of the links for you, so that you can click your way to the rules, the info, and everything you’ll need to get going…so, ummm, get going!

But wait!  Before you run off, I want to give you a little more incentive.  How about some free Johnsonville Burgers?  I’ll choose one commenter at random to win 4 free packages (that’s 24 burgers, folks!), and…

I’ll give one person who shares the link to this post on Facebook (I will pick at random, just be sure to TAG my Fan Site “She’s Becoming DoughMesstic” in your shout out so that I know you shared) – SIX boxes of free goodies. That’s 36 BURGERS! Woot! (Invite me to the cookout?)

Giveaway closes on August 3rd, at 11:59pm EST, and is open to all US Addresses.

Good luck everyone!

Ohhh! Now I am hungry. I LOVE a good burger with swiss cheese and grilled onions on it. Or a burger loaded with pico de gallo and avacados :)

I would love some burgers!! I actually do this! About 2/3 ground beef and 1/3 pork sausage mix for my burger patties. . .makes the most delicious burgers. I ‘d love to try these for comparison!

Hi! That burger in your pic looks divine! My mouth is watering, waiting for the chance to try the Johnsonville Burgers! They do make the best Brats, so how could they lose with their ‘burgers’!

I like a burger as much as the next girl, but one with bacon, onions, and pickles really gets me going.
