So, you saw those popcorn treats I made, right? Well, making them is a sticky situation. Don’t touch your iPhone while in the middle of making them, if you get my drift. In fact, don’t use ANY phone in the middle of making them… You’ll be sorry, not that I know from first hand experience or anything.

You may not know this about me, but I HATE to talk on the phone. Hate it. Paula, bless her heart, calls me everyday, at least once a day (at minimum), and talks for oh, half an hour. You cannot imagine what this does to my psyche. But I love her, and it’s nice to be able to step outside of the internet and be real every once in a while. Honestly, at this point, if she DIDN’T call me everyday, I’d wonder if something were wrong. I wouldn’t like that. I can’t even believe I’m saying that. Who AM I?

Anyway, phones. I am lucky these days to have this phone:

It’s a VTech, and get this…it has a headset. A headset! Sure, it has two regular handsets, too, but a headset! I can be rolling out dough, making those popcorn treats, washing dishes…anything, really, and when Paula calls, I am good to go, handsfree.

Nice.

It’s a sweet, sleek phone, complete with answering system, caller ID (of course), and that cool intercom feature phones tend to have these days. Really clear, too, which I appreciate. Oooh, it also rings, and then tells me OUTLOUD who’s calling. I don’t even have to LOOK to screen calls anymore, it TELLS me who’s calling. (Not that I screen calls. Much.)

Perfect for a gal who hates talking on the phone.
