Kid Friendly Avocado Pops

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Avocados from Mexico. All opinions are 100% mine.

Do your kids eat avocados?

I can’t say they are the cutest fruit (yep, they are fruit!), but they ARE delicious and nutritious. We slice them onto sandwiches, burgers, into salads, and of course, guacamole…but there are so many more ways to introduce them into your (and your childs) diet. It only takes three slices to gain potassium, fiber, folate, vitamin C, E and those B-complex vitamins that support memory and brain function. So, great for you AND for the kiddos. I know you want that, so, how can you get the picky eaters to give avocados a shot if they don’t already love them?

You could try these Avocado Blackberry Pops, for starters.

Nothing could be easier to throw together, and it’s a healthy alternative at snack time. Seven loves them!

Blackberry Avocado Pops

  • 2 ripe Avocados, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blackberries
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup orange juice

Pour the juice and sugar over the berries and also to macerate for 1 hour in the refrigerator. Combine with avocado and puree in the blender until smooth. Pour into freezer pop molds and freeze until set. Serve and enjoy!
