I made it nearly 4 entire months without a savory popover. Up until today, it’s been chocolate, cream cheese, berries and marshmallows. But finally, I caved.
Savory Popovers.
I filled these goodies with diced potatoes, bits of asparagus, breakfast sausage, and a nice handful of cheese. Think omelet, except breadier.
Think delicious.
Delicious enough, in fact, that I am entering it into the Wake Up With Johnsonville Contest. Who knows? Maybe I’ll win something! What do you think…is it worthy?
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons butter

- pinch salt

Oh my gosh .. how could you not win with these!?! I’ve been thinking about these all day. I can’t wait to try. You keep amazing me with your popover flavors. You need to publish a Popover Cookbook – I’d be the first to buy it!
I want these for breakfast. So yummy!
I think I’m making this tomorrow.
Love this! Got my entry in already : ) xoxo
Your popovers just keep getting better. I’m always interested in what you’ll make next! This one sounds fabulous! Frankly, I love potatoes at breakfast. Who am I kidding, I could eat them for dessert!
