Product Review: The Kid’s Tasters Box from Goodies Co.

I don’t know about you, but I am a huge mail junkie.  I can’t help it…I get excited every time there is a “real” piece of mail (you know, handwritten envelope from some far away land), a magazine (oh Lord, giddy), and if it’s a box?  Well, hold me back.  As a blogger, I fortunately get a lot of packages throughout the week, but I adore getting monthly subscriptions.  Like Birchbox or StitchFix…and now, there’s a new one.

The Goodies Kid’s Tasters Box.

I was contacted by a sweet gal at Goodies to see if I would be interested in trying out the inaugural Kid’s Tasters Box, which is geared for little ones aged 5-8.  Since Seven is almost 6, I knew I wanted to try it, if for no other reason than he is his mother’s child and also gets amped up about mail.  And this would be for HIM, so, believe me when I tell you, he’s all sorts of excited!

It’s a great value at only $7 per month, including the shipping (I lose that much in the washer), and each month sends your little one a box full of treats to sample before you commit to buy more in the store.  I love the “try before you buy” concept – just ask my wrists in a perfume store.

Don’t do that.  It’s not a good idea. Take my friendly advice.

But back to the Kid’s Tasters Box.

I love that Seven is so excited.  I told him the box is on the way, and once we had our tracking number, he looked it up online (kid is a whiz on the computer, no kidding), and voila – we knew when it would land at our door.

Unfortunately, that date was yesterday, and we are all away from home!  However, our friend carted the box inside last night, and Seven is just as excited as ever (maybe more so) to get home and dig in.

Each month will be different, and of course, a new exciting mail day for your kiddo.  Let them try things before you let them sucker you in to some random snack at the grocery store that sits uneaten a week later because “it’s groddy.”  Make good choices! If you want in from the very beginning (and I suggest you do!) – you can still sign up to get your box in August when they ship!  You have until July 25th to enroll, and you can use this link.  Easy as pie!

Here’s what August holds in that fun shipment…

  • Diamond Bakery  Hawaiian Fun Animal Cookies
  • Enjoy Life Crunchy Cookies
  • Bare Fruit  Fuji Apple Chips
  • Mott’s Medley Assorted Fruit Snacks
  • Crunchmaster  Crackers
  • Magic Milk Straws  in Vanilla Milkshake flavor
  • Tangy Zangy  Sour Twisties Candy

So, as you can see, a huge value for only $7!  And, in case you are trying to figure out what’s what in that picture up there – don’t!  That’s just a sample photo of the kinds of things to expect from month to month.  Remember, my box is still waiting at home for Sev to open!  I’ll post a pic or two on Twitter & Facebook once we get home…he’s so excited!

Okay quick…sign up!  Your kids will love you for it!  To get even more info, check out  the Goodies Facebook page to see what others are saying!

Comments

  1. Did you know that Goodies is a Walmart operation?

  2. It looks like a fun box for a kid. I get the regular Goodies box, and would totally get this if my daughter was older. Maybe in a year or two if they are still around.
