Giant Triple Chocolate Chunk and Citrus Cookies

What a mouthful, right?

Truly, and in every sense of the word. A MOUTHFUL.

Krusteaz-CCCookie2

You may have noticed on Twitter and Facebook that I have been any and everywhere this summer. In reality, I’ve been home maybe 10 full days since the start of the summer. I’m not complaining, mind you – I really enjoy my life and everything the blog has opened me up to.

But I am tired.

When I come home, I just want to rest. I want to curl up in my OWN bed and sleep, I want my own sheets and own shower and own everything.

Even my own oven, whether or not I want to turn it on.

Here’s the thing though…I HAVE to turn it on.

I’m still a blogger and I still have work to do.

Luckily, as one of my jobs, I am an ambassador for the Krusteaz brand. I love that position, for so many reasons, but one of the tops has to be that their mixes are SO convenient to experiment with, are tried and true, and from start to finish, I can have a flatbread or cookie or cake or pie on the counter in no time at all.

Take these cookies, for example.

Giant Triple Chocolate Chunk and Citrus Cookies.

I simply popped open one of the Krusteaz box mixes, added a few of my own touches, and into the oven it went. Summer should be easy, and this recipe is entirely that. What you get is a giant round cookie, dripping with chocolate chips and chinks, and an aroma of citrus that takes the average cookie to a new level.

And it was so, so easy.

So, Seize the Summer (or what’s left of it!), and give these cookies a try.

Don’t worry, the kids will be back in school before you know it, and you, too, can sit on your couch in peace, watching what YOU want to watch, and eat the whole batch.

No one is judging here.
