Many people use Sorbet and Sherbet interchangeably. Me included. So, could this be Fresh Strawberry and Lemon Sorbet?
For most though, a sherbet includes some kind of dairy, typically cream, whereas sorbets tend not to. I’m no judge, no jury, though, so call it what you like…as long as you call it delicious.
As this recipe is 100% delicious.
The best part is, it’s very easy to put together. In fact, I whipped it up while Jon was making lasagna, and by the time dinner was over, it was actually set to where we could eat it.
And eat it, we did.
In my new cookbook, I have a few strawberry sorbet and sherbet recipes, but this isn’t one of them. This one is almost as lemon as it is strawberry, which makes it a pucker up and smilefest all at the same time. I love the tartness paired with the sweetness of the berries and simple syrup, and the addition of ginger really pushed this recipe over the edge. It was an awesome way to wrap up dinner.
I may have had it for breakfast, too.
It’s called Quality Control, people. I’m just looking out for you.
