Recent Cakes

Tomorrow I hope to have my post ready about the Lewisburg West Virginia Chocolate Festival – so much to sort through, so many things to say, so many pictures to decide on! We had a great time together as a family, and I can say in all certainty that I have never seen Jon eat so much chocolate at once!

Until the post is up, I thought I’d just post a couple of pictures from some recent cakes I have done. I really need to be more adamant about grabbing photos of them before they head out the door. Really! So anyway, here are 3 recent cakes.

Until next time, everyone have a great rest of your weekend!

This was a cake for Emma’s Touch, a charity that auctioned the cake. It was Devil’s Food and whipped cheesecake frosting.

This cake was a going away cake for a local salesperson that took a job in Georgia. Hence – Peach. The cake was peach flavored and frosted in three shades of French vanilla buttercream. The stem is Tootsie Roll and the leaves were rolled fondant.

And this cake was for a bridal shower. The design was based on the bride’s wedding gown and color scheme of clover green and orange flowers. Thanks Meghan for the picture – I didn’t have one! The flavor here was vanilla cake filled with cheesecake icing, caramel and Snickers.
