SAVE in San Antonio!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of SAVE for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I have a travel bug. Can’t help it, I LOVE to travel. In case you didn’t know it, I used to own a travel agency before I started this blog. Before that, I took BIG trips, often a month at a time, to places like Bali. Kenya. Italy. Thailand. I’ve been fortunate in ways I can’t even tell you.

It took lots of planning though.

Good thing I like to plan. In fact, I thrive on planning. I never pay full price for anything. Ever. My mother didn’t raise me to pay full price. Same holds true for vacations – I must get a discount. It’s harder these days to get deals on airfare, but it’s still possible…but when it comes to hotels and theme parks? There’s always a deal to be had.

I’ve not had the chance to travel much of the US yet, but I do venture to guess I’ve seen more of our country than many people. I can’t wait to see more! One such place – San Antonio. It’s on my list! I was in Houston and Galveston a few years back, and almost took the side trip over to San Antonio. So wish I had!

Thanks to Social Spark, I was just turned on to the new SAVE – San Antonio Vacation Experience, where you can get great deals on places to say and things to do in the city. Have you checked it out?

Something that really speaks to the foodie in me? Restaurant Week, from August 18-25. One of San Antonio’s greatest attractions is its culinary scene, and August delivers a celebration of the city’s most exciting and diverse restaurants with Culinaria: Restaurant Week. Participating establishments are cooking up something incredibly delicious, offering delectable fare with specially priced menus. I can’t imagine the good eating!

Of course, while in town, I’d want to do all I could. I LOVE SeaWorld, and the San Antonio SeaWorld is debuting “Aquatica,” an 18-acre aquatic park with up-close animal experiences, high-speed thrills and relaxing, sandy beaches. SAVE discounts include deals on family-four packs, second day free, $10 off admission and more. (Yesss!)

Just down the road, Six Flags Fiesta Texas features over 50 rides and attractions, including eight roller coasters. New at Fiesta Texas is the SkyScreamer swing ride that provides aerial views that surpass the park’s quarry walls, which sounds awesome! SAVE discounts include adults pay kids price, buy an adult ticket and get a child’s free, next day free and more. Lots of ways to save cash!!

Waterpark fan? Me too! Splashtown is a huge favorite, with over 50 rides and attractions, concerts, and “Dive In Movie” nights for families. SAVE discount is up to $42. $42!!

SAVE also saves big money on hotels…so maybe splurge a little? Try a suite on the Riverwalk…you only live once! This one looks good – The Westin Riverwalk. Love those Heavenly Beds! With SAVE rates starting at only $119, it’s hard to go wrong with a deal like that.

Want a little more history with your lodging? Try the historic Menger Hotel, located next to the Almao (hello?!) and just steps from the iconic River Walk. Lafies…there’s also a spa here. Yessss. Rates with SAVE start at a mere $89.

Helicopter Tours? Save 10% with SAVE. Trolley rides? Save $2. The Zoo? Also SAVE $2. There are coupon books for shopping, deals at restaurants, and of course, dollars saved at SO many attractions. The possibilities are endless! All have discounts if you go to SAVE. Check it out!
