It isn’t every day Better Homes & Gardens asks you to do something.  Today is MY day.

I was chosen by BH&G to create the state SCENT, using their Scented Wax Warmers.  Such a tough thing to do – there are so many different scents, and then combining them? Overwhelming. I even had trouble picking out the WARMER, much less the scents.

But choose I did. (For reference, I went with that gorgeous antique blue warmer. Snazzy.)

BHG Wax Warmers and Cubes

Virginia is a huge state – mountains (like where I live), Southern Cities (like the capital of Richmond), history (Williamsburg springs to mind), and of course, the sea. Choosing ONE scent to represent the state wasn’t easy. So I went with something that just smelled incredible…and that makes sense.

Virginia is incredible, after all.

Half Coconut, half Orange Buttercream.

Why? Well, the beach smells like Coconut. You know this. Maybe it’s all the sunscreen, but that’s what it smells like. And then, as you move towards the mountains, you’ll likely smell buttercream. It’s coming from MY house.

I refuse to unplug the warmer, it smells SO good in here.
