Seafood Extravaganza…WIN WIN WIN!

Being landlocked has its merits – very few threats of a tsunami, waterspouts, or hurricanes.  Sure, we do get a few hurricane hits every few years, but nothing like those beach-dwellers. So, that’s lucky, I guess.

What’s UNLUCKY?

No real seafood here. We can buy frozen seafoods, but, who knows how long it’s been sitting there. Or how many times they froze it, then thawed it, then froze it again. Risky buying in a small town, or at least that’s my opinion. That being said, I am no longer unlucky.

A few months ago, I met Anderson Seafoods, and my life kind of changed. Fresh Seafood, shipped overnight to my door. Some is frozen, but that’s okay – you can TELL it’s still fresh. And the selection is out of this world. So far, I’ve posted Thresher Shark Fajitas and Bacon Wrapped Scallops…both were to DIE for. Not kidding – probably the best seafood I’ve consumed, and the fact that I made it myself, in my own house? Stuns me.

I love that I can go online to Anderson and pick out what I like today, and it will likely be on my doorstep tomorrow. Could that BE any easier?

I say not. I ordered this latest seafood on a Tuesday, and it was here early Wednesday morning. Just look at these gorgeous Bacon Wrapped Barbeque Shrimp I made…complete with Orange Mushroom Risotto. Gracious. I’ll be posting that recipe before long!
