My job is a fun job.
One of my jobs this summer was to open up a couple of bags of Peeps…and eat them.
So challenging, I know! I almost couldn’t handle the stress. It was truly touch and go for a few minutes…but then I got the bag open and everything was fine.
I’m not sure if you’ve seen these little yummies yet. But, they are the tiny little siblings of the traditional holiday Peeps that everyone knows and loves. You know, the chicks. The rabbits. The ghosts, the snowmen. And over the years, each holiday I look forward to seeing what new spin the Peeps will have – like – hello? The totally dunked in chocolate chicks? Yes, please. And the new flavors? Always fun!
The Minis are no exception. The new flavors this summer? Sour Watermelon and Strawberry Crème? Let’s not beat around the bush – these are tasty. Any tiny! About 13 calories in each one, so you can eat as many as you think feel good. 77 is likely too many, but I’m not the boss of you, so go for it. I didn’t see how long you stayed on the stepper at the gym. Maybe long enough. Probably maybe.
No matter, you should give them a go.
What’s that you say? Peeps are only for holidays?
Nyet. Come on now. You know you hide some of those marshmallowy goodies back from your kids just so you can sneak and eat them weeks later. I know you better than you think. But no worries, you don’t need a holiday. You can MAKE a holiday. Why not? Skip work. It’s “I Ate 77 Mini Peeps Day”. (Or as I like to call it, Tuesday.) Make it YOUR Day. Mini Peeps will help you celebrate.
