Thanksgiving Desserts
I’m freakishly busy.
So busy, in fact, I can’t even make you a dessert.
But…worry not, I’ve made LOTS of desserts, and therefore I have LOTS of desserts that will make your Thanksgiving dinner delicious.
Truth.
Let’s start with this Candy Apple Pie.
I’ve shared it here several times, and with good reason…it’s incredible. A little bit apple pie, a little bit cheesecake, a little bit caramel, a little bit whipped creamy goodness. You just can’t go wrong with this one.
Or how about this Caramel Apple Cheesecake I developed for Dixie Crystals? You’ve not seen this bad boy before…I sent it straight over to Dixie when I made it. You need to check it out.
How about chocolate? This Kentucky Derby Dirty Bourbon Pie is full of rich chocolate, nuts, and all kinds of deliciousness. Best part? It’s crazy easy.
A couple of years ago, I took this incredible Butterscotch Pie to my family’s Thanksgiving dinner. Not a sliver was left. Creamy. Decadent. A labor of love, but worth every second.
Can you get your hands on fresh fruit? I bet you can. Even my grocery store has these berries right now. It’s a gorgeous Vanilla Cream tart, easy to put together, and your family? They’ll sing your praises, because this tart is as delicious as it is pretty to look at.
Of course, I have to recommend the flavor of the season…Pumpkin.
This pumpkin cheesecake will fill the bill, for sure. Or, for a change up, try this Pumpkin Almond/Pecan Pie. It’s full of all the things we love about fall.
No matter what you decide to make, I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving, full of good food, friends, and family. Have a great one!
