Now the Hubby’s in on it…

So today I had to work, meaning, NO Cooking. Nada. However, Jon was quite productive, both indoors and out. He managed to take care of our yard AND the weedeating at the store. Plus, he washed some dishes, unloaded the dishwasher and took care of the boy. But most importantly, especially to the nature of this blogspot – he made a daring dinner. Homemade (not a mix) coleslaw and Tyler Florence’s Ultimate Barbequed Ribs. Apparantly he had seen this recipe made on the Food Network and decided to give it a shot. And let me just say, they got the name right. I personally am not a big fan of ribs, but these were fantastic. He cooked them perfectly, and the peach glaze in the sauce added an amazing flavor. Therefore, I am giving him a guest spot here on the blog. Thanks Kit, they were great!

The Ultimate Barbequed Ribs

2 slabs baby back ribs (about 3 pounds)

Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

Extra-virgin olive oil

2 bacon slices
