Mixed Food Conference 2014 Ticket Giveaway
In just about three weeks, the THIRD Annual Mixed is taking place in the mountains of Virginia. My co-host, the lovely Paula of Bellalimento and I have planned and worked for months and months to pull together all of the details, plan the sessions, prepare the swag, arrange the activities. Hopefully everyone will enjoy their time with us!
For the last two years, Mixed has been AMAZING. Close to one hundred bloggers and sponsors gathered together to learn, chat, make partnerships with brands, and make friends they never knew they needed. On top of a mountain, where Dirty Dancing was filmed, we partied and played, ate and decorated. We had a ball.
Seriously, a BALL…it was incredible.

This just sounds outstanding! I would LOVE to attend! I love cooking and trying new things, and would like to start blogging about my cooking adventures (like last Thanksgiving when I swore the neighbors were going to call the fire department as I cooked my turkey!) and decorating cakes, and would so enjoy meeting new folks who love the same things!

I’ve been a food writer and blogger for 7 years but have never been to a blogging conference… ever! A few years ago I got sick, then had a hip replacement which put a big kink in my blogging life. I need to get back in the saddle again, but I’ve lost sooo much time and missed sooo many awesome advancements in the blogging world. I’d LOVE to win a ticket to MIXED and get caught up with my photography skills (or should I say lack of), blog design, monetization, and everything else you have to teach me!

I was born and raised in southwest Virginia and I met my husband there (even though he’s from Pittsburgh!). November 10 will be our 30th wedding anniversary. Getting to attend Mixed (because I know I’ll learn so much to help launch my new career), return to my old stomping grounds and visit friends and family, and celebrate three decades of marriage with my husband at a place where we spent many romantic afternoons would be very special indeed!

Every year the recaps from Mixed conferences makes me want to attend! I would love to win and attend this year. The line up of speakers looks amazing and meeting and networking with other bloggers will be a great opportunity.

I’m at a more relaxed time of my life…..my children are grown and I’m enjoying a grandchild. I now have to time to learn more about blogging and cooking…by favorite things! I’d love to come to learn, relax and EAT! 🙂
