The Man’s Review of the New GE Keurig Refrigerator

This is Mr. Texas, a guest here at doughmesstic.com. By now, you all know my real name, and if you don’t, well, sorry, it’s buried in the abyss of previous posts. That’s not important anyway. What is important is this fancy new fridge that I use every single day. The new GE French-Door Refrigerator with Keurig® K-Cup® Brewing System – it’s pretty amazing!

I was the first to try all the bells and whistles, as Susan was out of town when this fine piece of art arrived. After my initial trial of the Keurig feature on the French-Door Refrigerator with Keurig® K-Cup® Brewing System, I was torn. Do I really have to wait 3 minutes for water to heat up? I mean, seriously, when I want coffee, I want coffee! However, I discovered that I could use my phone to heat the coffee!! What!?! So now, when I wake, I just hit the button on my phone. By the time I get up and moving about, water is warm and time for coffee! If I was really ambitious, I could set the cup under the built in Keurig the night before, but then I would probably swing the door open in the middle of night, smash the cup, and have a giant mess! That would not be good, but heated water primed for coffee is very good==and from the comfort of my own bed…mmmmm!

The French-Door Refrigerator with Keurig® K-Cup® Brewing System has more than just the Keurig feature. There is plenty of room inside to store all of our groceries – even enough room for the holidays and the ungodly amounts of butter I know she will be hoarding. Also? The alarm that sounds when I leave the door open is a life saver. I wouldn’t want any of Ms. Doughmesstic’s treasures inside to spoil, and I would surely be to blame. The gentle alarm saves me from that! The fact that it is counter depth and fits easily into our kitchen is a very nice perk. The double doors, the freezer on the bottom, the ice and water feature—all terrific! But, my favorite, is the Keurig that is built right in. We were able to free up counter space taken up by our Keurig with the state of the art built in feature on the French-Door Refrigerator with Keurig® K-Cup® Brewing System.

If you are looking for a new refrigerator, or just want an update, I really see no other choice. And in the morning, when I wake, I will walk into the kitchen, press a button, my coffee will be ready, and I will start the day!
