Happy Thanksgiving…And Winners!
I am just about to head out for a little Black Friday shopping.
I kind of hate that it’s starting tonight. I mean, really…couldn’t they start the sales after everyone had a good night’s rest and breakfast? That’s the way we USED to do it. Eat. Shop. Eat. Shop. Now it’s a mad dash for televisions and discounted toys before you’ve even had time to wash the Thanksgiving dishes. Thrill of the hunt, really, But 47000 turkey-hung-over-sleep-deprived women fighting for the last pair of Sponge Bob pajamas? It’s a little terrifying.
That’s why I am taking my camera and only buying sheets.
Nobody’s gonna bother me.
I do hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday today, enjoying family and great food. I know I did. I had a nap, a bath, and more food than I care to mention.
And now I am headed out. Wish me luck…I hope to be home by 3.
