Glimpse of Wordless Wednesdays Past…and a Giveaway!
I had a fail on Tuesday in the kitchen. Huge, epic, expensive fail. So…no recipe for you today. But that’s okay, I’ll get back at it, because I need this recipe to be perfect for you.
It’s gonna be a stunner.
Until then, I wanted to take a trip down memory lane, bringing back a recipe from the past that you may have missed. There are some great ones, from back in the day, when 20 people a day blessed my blog, that deserve a little more attention.
But while I was looking for old recipes, I got lost in photos from Wordless Wednesdays. I rarely do WW anymore, but for a year or so, I was pretty committed to it.
I’m glad I was.
I can look back now and see how much Seven has changed. They aren’t photos anyone would ever frame. They aren’t always clear. They aren’t always perfect. But hey are so real, and mean so much to me. Here are a few I love…I hope you don’t mind the mommy-love post. I promise, I’ll be back to desserts and other lovelies on Thursday!

One More Thing…
Is there something going around? Like, flu-wise? Seven has been snotty and coughing for a little over a week, though he seems to be getting better from that, thank goodness. We have a hard time getting him to take regular liquid medicine, but he’s a champ at the little strips. So – folks, if your kids are medicine fighters, try those. You can get them at pretty much any big box store or drugstore, or online is just as easy, at Drugstore.com. I like shopping there. By the way, I know a few of the kids at Seven’s Preschool have asthma, and I noticed that those Primatene Mist Inhalers that so many people use are about to be impossible to get. So, you may want to stock up while the getting is good…you can get one of the Primatene Mist inhalers here, in case you need one. I shop too much, apparently. But, now you know, just in case. I’m lucky Seven doesn’t need one. Jon has a real problem with allergies, and I don’t know how related asthma and allergies are, but, it’s something I’ve worried about.
Soooo anyway, back to the flu question. Today I overheard a couple of other moms in line waiting to pick up our kids from Preschool talking about their kids throwing up over the weekend. Yuck. Seven is NOT a vomiter, and actually has only thrown up on 2 occasions. TWO. So, I am NOT looking forward to it, if it is in fact going around. Is there even anything you can do for it?
Any advice would be appreciated!! (And hey, if you made it THIS far in the post, and you have advice, leave it as a comment and I’ll throw you a bonus entry. Because I can. )
See you back here tomorrow!
