Didn’t the kids JUST get out of school? I swear, in ways it seems like it…and yet in ways, I can’t believe the summer I’ve had. So many wonderful thins packed in to just under 3 months: a trip across country for a few weeks, a trip to the Florida Keys, 2 Panic at the […]
Know what’s better than peach sangria? Peaches and Cream Sangria. Swoooooon. If you know me very well, you know I am not much of a drinker. A mixed drink here or there, some Moscato from time to time, sure…but typically, I am your designated driver. But now I’ve discovered the world of Sangria. That’s all […]
Coconut Key Lime Pie? Oh, yesss. If you follow me on Twitter, you know I spent a week last month tooling around the Florida Keys. Poor ME. Woe is ME. Forced to travel to some amazing hotels, incredible restaurants, and eat 9 different Key Lime Pies. Yes, I did. I tasted NINE different Key Lime […]
Pineapple Barbeque Chicken Wings belong at ANY tailgate party. It’s almost tailgating season. Ahhh…fall. Football. Grilling in a field. Cool air, hoodies, and…football. Did I say football already? Yes. Football. For a girl, I am all about game day. College football, though – I’m not really into the NFL. Except for my baby, Colt McCoy. […]
It’s been a good summer. Nay, a great summer. (How long have I been saying “nay”? I honestly talk this way. Truth. Ask my friends friend.) I went on a 3 week cross country vacation, I hung out at the pool almost daily with Seven and our friends getting great tans, I went to movies, […]
Did you read the title? That’s a lot of words. But how do you leave any of them out? A Rum Shake. But not as thick as a milkshake, just…creamy. Smooth. Rich and delicious. Vanilla ice cream blended with Captain Morgan’s White Rum, sweet Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup, creamy dulce de leche…and bacon. Yep…bacon. You […]
Have you driven the PCH? You should. If you are on the fence, just trust me, you should. As you may know, my little family and I went on a whirlwind tour of the United States in June – 3 weeks in a packed to the gills Nissan Titan, more National Parks than you can […]
If you are like me, you are soaking every last bit of summer up that you can…beach days, lake days, pool days. My garden is overflowing with fresh veggies, our grill has been the main source of cooking. And you know what? I like being this lazy. I mean, lazy is okay, right? Must we […]
Sometimes, someone who thinks they know what they like (umm, me) finds out that believe it or not, there’s a whole new world of things they like as well. Things that may have seemed unusual for them. Things that just didn’t seem to make sense that a FORMULA – a computer program- could possibly know. […]
For the past few years, I’ve been making pink foods along with KitchenAid, in an effort to increase breast cancer awareness and the Susan G. Komen Foundation. KitchenAid is a huge supporter of the foundation, and it’s something that touches so many of us. So of course, when the note came in again this year […]
Last week I got to have a little bit of fun with friends and family, courtesy of Yasso. A party, with lots of food and frozen yogurt pops? And MY crazy family? Sign me up. I love the fact that as a blogger I am encouraged to try new and different products. Usually I […]
