One cool thing about being a blogger? Learning about things before anyone else. Take for example, this brand new (like, right at this minute it is available for purchase) ViSalus ViCrunch. My friend over at ViSalus decided to give me a sneak peek at the new Protein Super Cereal as well as the Fusions, and […]
I don’t know about you, but I am a huge mail junkie. I can’t help it…I get excited every time there is a “real” piece of mail (you know, handwritten envelope from some far away land), a magazine (oh Lord, giddy), and if it’s a box? Well, hold me back. As a blogger, I fortunately […]
As you may remember, I was contacted by Philadelphia Cream Cheese and Kraft, offering to set me up with a summer full of their new spreadable cream cheese flavors. I’ve been enjoying all of the 5 PHILADELPHIA Snack Delights flavors (all delish!) and to be honest…I just can’t choose a favorite. Can. Not. The chocolate […]
Do you get to actually watch television? I’ve heard of people who are able to. Me? Notsomuch. I WANT to watch it, but I find it distracts me when I am trying to actually work, and with Facebook and Twitter on my computer being distraction enough…well – you see my dilemma. That being said, I’m […]
I love the look of those fancy tarts you see in the bakery window. You know the ones – the glassy fruit topped tarts, looking glazed and gorgeous, and you just want to HAVE IT. Must. Have. The. Tart. Well, I never actually BUY them. And as it turns out, I can make them in […]
Still looking for something amazing to have for the 4th of July? Look no further. Think garden fresh. Think full of flavor. Think creamy. Tongue Tingling. Bite sized. Think Spicy Corn & Tomato Jalapeno Bites. I was asked by Kraft and Philadelphia Cream Cheese to create a recipe for their Seasonally Fresh with Philadelphia Program, […]
I am finicky when it comes to my eggs. Truth here – until oh, 4 weeks ago, the ONLY way I’d had an egg was scrambled. Never over easy, never sunny side up, never poached. Okay, I’d had hard boiled, but you get the picture…no runny yolk, ever. And then I had poached. I’m honestly […]
Have you met me? Like…in person? Maybe you have. If you haven’t, you may not know this about me, but people freak me out. As in, all the way freak me out. It’s a complete “It’s not you, it’s me” thing – I am just socially backwards, sideways, every way but right ways when it […]
Good things come in small packages. Of course, when it’s chocolate – like, really good chocolate – those small packages have to be opened repeatedly, since one is never enough. At least the unwrapping adds up to a little bit of exercise, right? Just go with it. Sometimes that’s all the activity I can muster. […]
One thing I hate…bugs. Sorry, bug lovers. I know some of them are good. The good ones are fine, so long as they don’t crawl or fly into my house, or make little nests in my basement, or look at me with those creepy eyes while I’m sleeping. I just know they are plotting to […]
You may not know this about me, but I am a ranch addict. Heck, I’m addicted to lots of things. Sexy shoes, high dollar handbags, Ryan Gosling. But ranch I can have an affinity for and not break the bank. Or my back. Let’s not go there….I was talking about the shoes, you know. As […]
Sometimes I just can’t leave well enough alone. Like – pasta is good, right? And dessert is good…but how often do you have pasta for dessert? Well, I did. I took a perfectly good lasagna noodle and deep fried it, tossed it with powdered sugar, and topped it with simple, sweet, and sassy strawberry sauce. […]
