The Things I Love…

are on a huge sale!!
I was shopping today on Amazon (for Christmas – can you believe how fast it is coming??) and of course, I got sidetracked. It happens. I get sucked into the Kitchen Store every time. But get this…while I was there, I picked out a few of my most favorite things to show my readers – and whoa…HUGE DISCOUNT. Huge. I wish I needed all of these things again!

Take a gander…

The Silpat. God LOVE it. I know, I know. Why did I wait so long do buy it?? It’s amazing. There are other silicone mats out there, for less money, even, and I own a couple. They DO NOT compare. The Silpat has a special weave that distributes the heat evenly, and there is NO STICKING. Ever. It is worth every penny at full price, $24.99, but right now it is on sale for $17.99…

The Wilton Spoon Scraper. I mentioned it yesterday. Just BUY it. Buy it. $6.99. Buy IT. I paid $8 for mine.

Ateco Food Coloring. I love this stuff. I find it so much easier to use than the Wilton Colors. Don’t get me wrong, I do love the Wilton Colors, too…but the squeeze bottles Ateco uses are so much easier. They also provide very vibrant colors, and even do a great job with black. Black Icing – no problem. And it doesn’t require but a drop or two to achieve it. Yay! Normally $26.00 for the set of 12, but now you can get them for $13.95.

Lastly, KitchenAid Measuring Cups & Spoons. I own them in white, but Amazon has the Pink on sale! Plus, once you purchase them and register online, KitchenAid will donate 10% to the Cook for the Cure Foundation. Win Win situation. I love them – they are heavy duty and so easy to clean. Normally $15, now on sale for $9.99.

Here’s the best part of me doing this work for you. If you add up the retail value, you are looking at nearly $75 plus tax and shipping…which could be nearly $90!! (Still worth it, though – truly.) However, if you shop NOW by clicking through this link and adding the items to your shopping cart, you can get all of them together, including tax and shipping for just about $42. Yep! $42!! (that’s one of my favorite numbers.)

Why so cheap? First off, Amazon has great deals. Second, they are offering a 4-for-3 promotion. Meaning, you pay for 3, get the 4th Item free. There are only certain items available for that promo, but all of these are. Or, you can click through and pick out any 4 things you like…just click through! Then, there’s Free shipping on all Amazon purchases over $25 – so FREE for these things!

I hope you don’t mind me showcasing a few of my favorite things. It won’t become a habit, but because I am trying to make a buck or two AND because Christmas is coming on, I thought now would be an opportune time to throw out some Wish List Bakers Items to those of you who are looking to add a few stocking stuffer ideas to your list. Husbands can always use a little nudge. (Honey, I already OWN all of these things. I’ll make you a different list, okay?)

Oh, and hey – if you are looking for a couple of big-ticket items, look no further. This Professional KitchenAid is on a huge sale. You know you can get the small ones faor $160-$200 at the after Thanksgiving Sales, and they are nice. If you do alot of baking though, and in particular a lot of bread making, you will be better served with a big guy like this one. At $269, you aren’t paying much more than you would have for the small one. I LOVE mine. You’ll love yours, too…especially because the retail value is like $500 – and this is nearly half price. Yum. God, I love a sale.

Last big ticket item is this Cuisinart Knife Set. I got it for Jon for Father’s Day. I didn’t see the need for a good knife set, as we had a set that I bought at a crappy auction. A knife is a knife, right? Ummm, no. These kick major hiney. We use them every day, and the scissors are probably ready for a vacation I employ them so often. It’s a steal at this price…so maybe buy them as a “gift” for the Hub and enjoy them yourself. (shhh. I didn’t say that.)

Thanks everyone – and if you have any of these items and have anything to add about them, please, leave me a comment here!

Spread the love
