Boy Wonder

Please excuse me while I brag…but tonite I m a very proud Mama. Well, I am always proud, but tonight is just over the top proud.
For his birthday, Seven’s nurse Tina (from when he was in the hospital the week after he was born) gave him a little sailboat. The sailboat has little man that stands on a post. I showed Seven how the little man gets attached to his boat thinking, you know, one day maybe he will understand what that means. But he got this look in his eyes…a determined look…and so I handed him the little man and held the slippery sailboat for him.

Genius? Maybe not. But pretty darn great if you ask me. A (barely) one year old with that amount of an attention span? Sorry Jon, I think he gets it from me. FYI – I could tie my own shoes at 2. Just ask my Mom. 🙂
