Microsoft Office & Windows Computer Giveaway!
A couple of weeks ago, as you may recall, I was in Seattle.
Ah, Seattle.
I wish I had been able to see more, do more, eat more…but I did what I could in the 5 days I had. Which was actually, quite a lot.
One of the best things I did? I got to meet my friends from Microsoft Windows and Office. They had a nice soiree at the Microsoft Store in University Village (Stunning, fabulous store!), and offered some great giveaways while there.
Two of the evenings I was in town, the crew came up to our penthouse and joined us in some festivities. We mingled, we learned, we got to know each other as well as hear about some exciting things coming up in the future. Like Windows 8, but I’m not talking. Yet. Let’s just say it’s going to knock your socks off.

A new to me Office product is OneNote. Think Pinterest, but better. You can capture text, web pages, pictures from your hard drive, music, recipes, you name it…and keep them all together in notebooks. Like a Trapper Keeper, but the pages don’t fall out when you get on the bus. Amazing, and so many practical applications for it. Do take a look – it may already be installed on your computer!!
