It’s Not Easy Being Green.

I’ll admit, I am not the most environmentally friendly. I use chemicals. I fill my bathtub really full. I don’t recycle. I do use grocery store bags to put dirty diapers in, though, if that counts for anything. Sorry, earth. I suck.

Let me make it up to you.

My friend from High School turned me on to these bags. Apparantly, they’re so great that she is buying them for lots of people on her Christmas list. So I took a look at them – and let me just say – wow. Wow Wow.

The Rume Bag. As in ReUseME. Sure, you can purchase the grocery store cheapy at the check out line – but before you do, look at these. They are super sylish, come is all sorts of colors, and fold/roll up to practically nada. You can order a 3 piece set, and each bag holds a whopping 50 pounds. See? Wow!

I am thinking these would be great for taking to Italy when we go. Did you know that in the grocery stores there that you have to BUY a plastic bag if you don’t have one? I think they have the right idea…maybe we would ALL use these reusable grocery bags if that were the case here in the US. But I also think these would be perfect for a diaper bag, an overnight bag, or just a big, strong bag to take to the mall and pile your finds in it. Then, when you get home, voila, it’s all together.
