Product Review: Bissell CleanView Deluxe with OnePass
You know what sucks?
Vacuuming.
Hahaha. Couldn’t help it – it’s the joke that keeps on joking, lame as it ever was.
But – I do detest vacuuming. I’m not sure why, because for whatever reason, you can clean the rest of the house for three hours, but it takes only a few minutes of vacuuming to make it actually LOOK clean.
I don’t get it. I don’t. But that’s the reality.
A week or two ago I was approached by Bissell to see if I would be interested in reviewing their new CleanView Deluxe vacuum with OnePass…so, since you are reading this, you know I said yes. Of course, Jon is just pleased that the review required my hiney to actually vacuum.
Whatever.
Now, we already own a competing vacuum brand, and it serves us well. It does a great job of picking up the piles of dog hair that accumulate, it never loses any suction, it’s not too heavy, and it has some convenient attachments. Downside? It’s pricy. Really pricy, in my opinion, at over $400.
The Bissell CleanView Deluxe, in comparison, offers those same features. It’s lightweight, which is nice, as we have two floors, and lugging a heavy vac up and down the stairs is not something I like. It’s also really great at sucking up that dog hair – the technology they’ve used (don’t ask me what it is, as they didn’t give me the DL on that, and why would they? Maybe it’s super secret) called OnePass is excellent at picking up the dirt and hair the first time their paths cross. Therefore, not a lot of back and forth needed. The attachments are also great – a long wand for tucking in under the kitchen cabinets to clean the cobwebs and dust that the base suction can’t really reach, and a nice wide sucking attachment that works really well on the stairwell carpet. Same as my pricy model, but in a much more value-packed version. The cleanup of the inside of the vacuum was also a snap – it includes what they call the Bottom Easy Empty™ Dirt Cup for added convenience – and boy, is it ever just that – convenient.
So – did I like it?
Yes, yes I did. It was an excellent vacuum, especially for the price – the CleanView Deluxe with OnePass was only $99. That, to me, is a great deal. This particular model also comes with a nice 3 year warranty…so just in case, you’re covered.
Good stuff!
