Who would be interested??

As in YOU, blogger friends. Let me back up a bit before going forward.

Last night after midnight, AFTER I WON playing my “Business Stimulation Only” Football Card, which is “not to be used in violation of any law” – yay! – I watched Waitress. Waitress stars Keri Russell, who, you may remember as Felicity on the college drama of the same name. I can’t help it, but I loved that show. I loved her, Ben, Noel – all of them. Even Shawn and Megan eventually grew on me. But that’s beside the point. Waitress. It’s a cheeky little movie. It could have been filmed in a much darker, more realistic way, and I perhaps would have preferred it that way, but again, that’s another point entirely. The point of MY post is this: Keri was a waitress who made Pies. All kids of pies. Sweet, Savory, no matter what they ate, it was in a pie.

Which got me thinking. I LIKE PIE. I do. She was always inventing new pies, such as Bad Baby Pie, or Chocolate Strawberry Oasis Pie.

Could we not have fun with this? I can’t imagine doing another once a week project. Dorie and MKMW keep me tied up, and a lot of you do Whisk Wednesday or Barefoot Bloggers. But maybe once a month? Create a pie all our own and share it with our friends? Or maybe one savory and one sweet per month? Alternate? Any suggestions?

Would ANY OF YOU like to invent pies with me?? And does anyone have a suggestion for what this Pie Inventing Group could be called?
