Product Review: Mombo by Comfort and Harmony

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Comfort and Harmony for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

When I had Seven, what feels like yesterday but was actually nearly 6 years ago (gasp), I swore I wasn’t going to buy into all of the different products out there that supposedly made life easier. I mean, my grandparents didn’t have all of that stuff. Heck, they didn’t even have a nursery. So why did I need to have an electric wipe warmer (I ended up with 2) or motion activated color video baby monitor? (Had that, too.) Why did I need these things?

Because they made life easier.

One of the other things I bought back then was a C shaped pillow, to wrap around my waist when I was feeding Seven a bottle. It wasn’t anything too fancy – just a pillow, and I could buy different covers for it if I wanted. It worked fine, though it was a little bulky, and over time got a bit too lumpy for my liking. I didn’t breastfeed, but it was nice to be able to prop up his head and my arms never got tired. So that was nice. But – the product could have been…better.

Now a company has made something better. It’s called mombo™.

I was sent a Deluxe Mombo to review, by Comfort & Harmony, despite the fact that I don’t have a baby anymore. So why did I agree to review it?

Well, some of YOU have babies, or are about to, and I thought you might want to know about it. Plus, my cousin (she feels like my niece) had a beautiful baby girl a few months back and I thought she would really like it.

The Mombo has a unique shape (A really tight C with good sized center) and a two-sided design called Firm2Soft™, with each side offering a different experience. The firm side gives essential support for mommy and her nursing baby. The soft side is extra cozy—an inviting place for lounging or tummy time. And mombo is the only nursing pillow with a vibration feature, to give baby the ultimate soothing experience while lounging.Mombo, like the pillow I used to have, has an assortment of pillow styles and slipcover fashions, so that you can find one to match your nursery, or, just have an extra set for when the baby gets it dirty. Select your style from Standard, Deluxe or Nude™. Then choose multiple slipcover fashions so you’ll always have a spare! (Not that MY baby ever made a mess. Ever.)

The baby isn’t a newborn, so I wanted to show you how well it transitions from a product you appreciate during feeding time as a nursing pillow, to a product you can use later on when it’s time for them to sit up on their own and mobilize. The rounded cushion makes a comfy little lounging area for a girl her size, and offers her plenty of support while she’s still getting the hang of being a big girl! Plus, its’ super soft, and the fabrics are very high quality…and nice to look at! Sorry, but it’s true – pretty is better when it comes to lots of things, and this product is pretty. I wish I had had one, too!
