Strawberry Lemonade Frozen Yogurt Pops
Today’s post is another one of those “Lucky Day” opportunities I get from time to time. Not too long ago, in the midst of a heat wave, I was contacted by Yoplait to create a new recipe using their Frozen Yogurt.
Yoplait wanted to PAY ME to eat frozen yogurt, in the heat. Lots of it, in fact. Enough of it that I could make you a special recipe using it.
So use it I did.
Seven has become addicted to the frozen pops I’ve been making this summer, and this recipe is one he’s begged for ever since I made the first batch. It’s really THAT good – full of great pucker from the lemon, and plenty of sass from the strawberry yogurt. Amazingly simple to put together, and an overall crowd pleaser. I hope you’ll give them a try!
Strawberry Lemonade Frozen Yogurt Pops
makes 8 pops
Ingredients
- 1 cup Yoplait Strawberry Frozen Yogurt
- 1 cup prepared lemonade
- ¼ cup diced fresh strawberries
Instructions
Combine yogurt and lemonade in a small mixing bowl. Stir or whip until smooth and yogurt has melted.
Pour ¼ cup of mixture into freezer pop molds. Stir in ½ tablespoon chopped berries into each mold. Insert stick.
Freeze pops until solid, around 3 to 4 hours.
Tips
If you do not own a popsicle mold, you can use small paper drinking cups and small craft sticks to mold your freezer pops.
To quickly prepare multiple batches, use a blender to prepare the mixture before adding the fresh berries. It’s much faster and very convenient.
Happy weekend!!
