13 Peanut Butter Recipes You Have to Have

You may not know this, but November is officially National Peanut Butter Lovers Month.

Truth.

My Rust is a HUGE peanut butter lover. He eats it by the jar full…even over here in Europe where the residents prefer Nutella. Now, I don’t enjoy it the way HE does, but, I can see why Europeans prefer hazelnut spread, and the reason isn’t because it’s full of cocoa.

It’s because the peanut butter over here is just not good. It’s too gritty. It doesn’t really spread. It’s not sweet in the least (I know, American girl thoughts)…and well, I just can’t like it. Maybe if the American peanut butter brands made it over the pond, there would be a Peanut Butter Revolution, but, I really don’t see that happening anytime soon. In fact, I have yet to see a chocolate bar that has peanut butter in it. No Reese’s at all, even. I wonder why that is?

Strange. But oh well.

Most of you readers live in the U.S. anyway, and I know you love peanut butter. Perhaps your spouse disappears in the middle of the night as well, then tiptoes back to bed smelling of JIF. It’s a common theme in my life, and so today, I have decided to embrace it, in honor of Peanut Butter Lovers Month. Maybe one of these recipes will inspire you to get in the kitchen and create, or, maybe you just need a great recipe to save aside for Thanksgiving. I’m sure your friends and family wouldn’t mind one bit if you showed up with a Reese’s Cup Cheesecake.
